Abstracts of Current Research

One way to find current research is to read abstracts on line of full papers that have been printed of current research. (Abstracts are one paragraph summaries of journal articles.) You can do searches for abstracts on particular topics OR go to the websites of journals and look at their abstracts and read those that sound interesting. Some journals won’t let you access abstracts or full articles unless you subscribe, but many will. If you find a title that interests you, but you can’t access the full abstract or text, many of these are at Framingham State Library where you can go and get the journal from the reference librarian and copy the article. If you find an abstract that interests you, you should try to get the full text.

Here are some sites of scientific journals to get you started but you can find hundreds more on-line.
